What is an Account Cool Off and How to Set It?
Sometimes, taking a short break can make a big difference in your gaming experience. This article explains how the Cool Off feature works, how to set one up, and how to know when it ends.
Important: Customer Support cannot change, remove or override any Responsible Gaming limits set in place. As per gaming regulations, each limit must remain in place for its full duration.
What is a Cool Off?
A Cool Off is a Responsible Gaming tool that lets you take a temporary break by locking your account for a set period, without permanently closing it. Once your chosen period ends, your account reopens automatically so you can pick up right where you left off.
How the Cool Off Works
You can choose a cool-off period ranging from a minimum of 1 day or up to a maximum of 3 months. During this time, your account will be completely inaccessible.
For example, if you activate a 3-day Cool Off at 12 PM on January 1st, you will not be able to log in again until after 12 PM on January 4th.
How to Set Up a Cool Off
- Tap the Menu button in the top right corner.
- Scroll down to Play Responsibly and select 'Safer Gaming Tools'.
- Choose Account Cool Off.
- Pick the Cool Off period that works best for you and select 'Continue'.
- Review and Confirm your choice to activate it.

Understanding When Your Cool Off Ends
The Cool Off expiry date and time will be displayed on the screen, as shown below. Once the Cool Off ends, you will be able to log back into your account. If you didn't note the date, our Customer Support Team will be happy to confirm it for you.
